Film programmer for TIFF Kids, one of the world’s largest and most prestigious children’s film and media Festivals. TIFF Kids 2013 features 117 films – 29 Features and 88 Shorts – representing 40 countries.
I seek out and invite the best in family-friendly International cinema (specializing in animation) through attending Festivals and researching studio and filmmaker activity. During the Festival period I liaise with Filmmakers and Industry in attendance and host audience Q+A’s with special guests.
For more information on the Festival’s programming, mission, vision and community impact please visit http://tiff.net/tiffkids/festival.
I have programmed, produced or volunteered for dozens of events in Toronto, sat on several Juries including the WorldWide Short Film Festival and the National Screen Institute as well as advisory groups for creative initiatives such as the University of Toronto’s Thing Tank Laboratories and digital media conferences for Interactive Ontario as well as George Brown College’s digiFest.
