a series of Creative Jams and Conferences designed to foster cross-sector collaboration amongst Ontario’s Film, Gaming and New Media silos
This was a large-scale project that took place over 18months – videos outlining TIFF Nexus’ Industry and Community Partnerships, creative outcomes, as well as speaker presentations are available online at tiffnexus.net.
Invited and collaborated with the eight Partner organizations to tailor the vision, goals and overall series structure:
- Ryerson University
- The Hand Eye Society
- Interactive Ontario
- Ubisoft Toronto
- George Brown’s digiFest
- Designing Digital Media for the Internet of Things Consortium ddimit.org
Programmed all conferences, invited dozens of high profile speakers, researched and created hands-on media technology workshops. Invited community partners The Hand Eye Society who conceived of and collaborated with other TIFF Nexus partners to lead hands-on “creative jam” sessions that offered participants the chance to prototype innovative media and gaming experiences and showcase them to the Public and Industry.
